To our valued clients,
Your wellness, health & safety is our concern.
With recent reports of the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) or COVID-19 in Ontario, we recognize the importance of pandemic preparedness and overall safety of our staff and client stakeholders within the facilities we serve. While pandemics are unpredictable in their timing and severity, there are a number of precautionary measures we can and have taken to help protect your safety, the safety of your tenants and visitors, and our staff.
As always, we go beyond traditional visual cleaning and focus on overall occupant health, which emphasizes disinfection of touch points and environmental irritants. We have an ICS Airborne Pathogen Disinfection Protocol and have sourced a DIN certified, organic and highly effective disinfectant product that takes one minute to kill an influenza virus on contact, compared to other disinfectants that take upwards of eight minutes contact time and possibly require a rinse or wipe afterwards. This organic disinfectant can be applied using an electrostatic sprayer, which is by far, the most effective way of disinfecting an area. Our staff are fully trained and prepared to apply this measure upon request.
Furthermore, we are committed to continuously maintain alcohol-based hand sanitizers and soap dispensers as part of our daily duties in the facilities we service. It is a small, but important measure, to help stop the spread of disease – as is washing your hands thoroughly. Just as school children are taught, it’s best to scrub your hands with soap and water, including between your fingers, tops and palms for as long as it takes to sing “Happy Birthday” – as a guide.
The ICS Pandemic Preparedness & Response Plan , which focuses on business continuity, is readily available to all our clients and includes a checklist of critical steps to help mitigate any risk.
We understand that events like this can cause feelings of uncertainty and anxiety. As a trusted partner and provider of facility services, ICS is on guard to deliver precautionary measures to mitigate risk and enhance safety.
