This global pandemic has challenged us personally and professionally – beyond what we could ever imagine. This time last year, we were hopeful that the worst of the pandemic was behind us. However, the introduction of new variants has stretched these challenging times across another year. Hope and resilience is a key theme for 2021.
As an essential service – in cleaning and disinfection, repair and restoration and security – we continue to deliver business continuity. We are committed to collaboration and teamwork. We have proven our commitment to collaboration and teamwork, determination to deliver service excellence in a safe and professional manner and agility in decision making during a time of crisis. The need to act fast and respond to clients has never been greater. We’ve learned to understand the changing landscape, prioritize quickly and accurately, allocate the right resources and maximize cooperation across the business. These efforts are what it takes to build a resilient organization.
Through it all, we welcomed new employees, promoted from within, moved to a new office, celebrated our cleaning and security crews as front-line heroes, and cheered on our Chief Operating Officer Ross Manley, as he completed his 14th Ironman with a new personal best record.
Also in 2021, our security business, serviced by RBG Security, celebrated its 10th anniversary. A service milestone such as this requires a creative spirit to exceed our clients’ needs. We have much to look forward to as we embark on a new year and strive to achieve many more milestones together. And while Covid fatigue is real, we remain committed to the well-being of our employees and the needs of our valued clients. Our cleaning crews continue to touch-point target sanitize, our security teams continue to protect people, property and assets, and our rapid response teams continue to provide around-the-clock peace of mind with thorough wide-area disinfection services.
As we embark on a new year, we look forward to continuing our work together – whether that is through a single service contract or a bundling arrangement that includes two or more facility service deliverables. We are excited for the future and grateful for your business. In the meantime, if you would like information on the ICS Building Protection Program, please email us at info@icsfacilityservices.ca, or if you need rapid response disinfection services, please email: rapidresponse@ICSfacilityservices.ca.
In closing, with hope and resilience a key theme for 2021, we are pleased to donate to the following three charities this season: Kids Help Phone, CAMH and the Canadian Cancer Society. This pandemic has had direct and indirect effects on everyone, especially vulnerable members of society. We hope this contribution helps make a difference.
We wish you a safe and happy holiday season – a time to reflect and recharge and welcome the New Year with renewed optimism.
