TORONTO, ON (February 4, 2019) // ICS Facility Services (“ICS”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Neil Lathangue has been named Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of ICS, a leading provider of commercial facility service solutions to many of Canada’s largest and well known real estate asset managers, property managers and landlords. As CCO, Neil will be responsible for developing a commercial experience strategy that will amplify market share with customer-centric, value-driven and innovative solutions.

A highly-regarded executive, Neil brings more than 20 years of proven operational and strategic leadership experience across a distinguished career in the facility services industry. 

Prior to joining ICS, Neil worked in venture capital investment as Founder and General Partner of Desiderata Capital LLP. In this role since 2012, Neil would identify, provide and invest in opportunities and strategic partnerships within real and emerging economy companies.  Preceding this, Neil held various senior executive positions with a number of industry-related businesses, including Waste Solutions Canada, Sierra Alpha Services Inc., Innovative Group, and Omni Facility Services.

Having worked with tremendous teams over the years, Neil executed the largest merger in the Canadian facility services industry and was recognized with Canada’s 50 best managed companies as Certified executive coach as well as author and facilitator for the BOMI International RPA, FMA programs. He was also the property manager for the international TOBY award selected best managed office building in the world for its size.

His experience as private equity jockey and CEO resulted in growing facility services companies from $60 million in revenue to a quarter billion dollars in four years; with extraordinary market share, capability and organic growth. He is incredibly well-rounded as a respected and engaged leader and environmental steward.

Neil has a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and environmental policy from Brock University, followed by a certificate in Strategic Leadership from the University of Western Ontario and a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University.

He is a father of three and enjoys competitive running at national and international levels and remains active with the Young Presidents’ & World Presidents’ Organization (YPO/WPO), Upper Canada Chapter.
