TORONTO, ON (December 4th, 2018) // ICS Facility Services (“ICS”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Ross Manley has been named Chief Operating Officer of ICS, a leading provider of commercial Facility Service solutions to many of Canada’s largest and most well-known real estate asset managers, property managers and landlords.
Ross has more than 20 years of proven operational and leadership experience, a passion for excellence and a relentless determination to achieve results. As COO, Ross will have overall responsibility for ensuring the ICS team consistently delivers client focused, value driven, and innovative solutions on a daily basis.
During his long-standing career in Facility Services, Ross has held several senior executive management positions in some of the largest companies within the industry.
Internationally, Ross was a Founder & CEO of a specialized facility services company in his native New Zealand, focused predominantly on the commercial cleaning sector. He led his team in the execution of a strategic plan to grow the business, both organically and through the acquisition of four additional companies, to become a dominant player within the New Zealand market. Ross was subsequently approached by and sold his Company to, ISS Facility Services, a multi-billion dollar facility services company and one of the largest in the world.
Within North America, Ross previously served as VP Corporate Development for what would become one of Canada’s largest national integrated facility service providers, at more than $500 million in revenue. There he was directly responsible for key integration projects, including national relationships, strategic pricing, procurement and human resources during the Company’s formation and early growth stages. More recently and immediately prior to joining ICS, Ross served as VP Eastern Canada for a mid-market national provider of commercial cleaning services, where he established a foothold, built and led an Ontario-based sales and operational team that achieved significant market share and millions in annual year-over-year revenue increases.
Ross has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and has completed a Masters project in robotic automation and control, which will further complement ICS’s building automation offering. He is a father of 3 and likes to spend his spare time completing Ironman triathlon events, having reached the finish line in over 10 of these races globally.
